Prince Of Byron Looks A Stayer Of The Future

Another nice horse we have unearthed looks to be Prince Of Byron who appreciated the rise to 2000m at his 2nd race start and knocked off his Maiden at Warrnambool in fine style.

We purchased this guy as a yearling in the UK with the dream of winning a Melbourne Cup and one thing for certain, he will get the 2 miles!

He doesn’t possess any great speed early but just keeps building and building and despite being a long way off what will be the finished product it was a good raw victory today which gave us a glimpse of what he might become.

Fred Kersley rode him to perfection, letting the 3yo relax then allowing him to creep into the race, finishing with a powerful burst down the middle of the track.
